IVC was established in 1998. For several years IVC managed two distinct businesses, a fund of hedge funds unit and a proprietary high frequency statistical arbitrage trading team.
Our flagship fund of hedge funds is the IVC Ascent Fund. IVC Ascent is a multi-strategy absolute return fund with an outstanding track record. It was launched in 2001 and is a leading performer in its field.
In 2010, IVC separated the management of its businesses, and embarked upon the significant further development of its investment management unit. IVC has entered into several strategic relationships to develop a pan-European life insurance business linked to its funds. As part of this strategic development, IVC will issue long-term pension and savings products exclusively linked to its funds.
A major new fund, the IVC Global Markets Fund, will go live in early 2012. This Irish domiciled UCITS-IV global macro absolute return fund will trade across equity, fixed income and currency markets, plus commodities permitted by UCITS regulations.
